Presenters: (partial list) Sondra Shaw-Hardy is an expert and a pioneer in women's philanthropy. Since 1995 she has written, co-authored or co-edited three books about women and philanthropy: "Reinventing fund-raising", "Creating a Women's Giving Circle", and "The Transformative Power of Women's Philanthropy." Jessica Chao is the Vice President of Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, where she directs several high impact, strategic grantmaking initiatives including the Cultures of Giving program, an initiative to encourage the growth of philanthropic assets in communities of color. She has written and presented on diaspora and Asian American philanthropy. Julia Parshall is a philanthropic advisor at Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, where she conducts grantmaking, research and program design for both institutional and individual clients. She is program manager for the Cultures of Giving Fund, which supports the growth of philanthropic assets in communities of color, and serves on the Grants Advisory Committee of the New York Women's Foundation and the New York Regional Association of Grantmakers' Special Committee on Increasing Diversity in Philanthropy. Tracy Gary is the author of Inspired Philanthropy: "Your Step by Step Guide to Creating a Giving Plan and Leaving a Legacy" and the Executive Director of Inspired Legacies, a nonprofit philanthropic and legacy advisory firm. Phil Cubeta, CLU, ChFC, MSFS, CAP is the Chief of Staff of a national financial firm. He specializes in training and supporting advisors in philanthropy. Jean "Nurture Girl" Russell is a certified NLP coach, Co-Founder of Inspired Legacies, and an expert on developing social benefit community eco-systems. Diana Ip, Director of Programs, Changemakers' Essentials for Diversity in Giving (EDG) Curriculum Updates from the next generation of donor education: Resource Generation, Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy, Leveraging Privilege for Social Change, Bolder Giving, and Play Big! Logistics: Local transportation will be provided, including airport arrival and departure unless you prefer to be on your own.
